Forget the Points! Get a life!

What do the points even mean anyway!
Thay our so much beter than the next person
because you are willing to talk Lance Armsrong
the latest Widget boring old politics with Kerry and Bush
battling it out!
Is that what a blog really about what is going on in the
world our is about us?

I don't know about you but I think that taskbar customization
really applies to my every day life!

And in most refered whe have the lovely "Floozie is bored" on
too much information which is nothing more then a good old
coppy and paste form email.

How ironic what people want to see is what they are getting
as spam in their email!

So Forget the Points! Get a life!

Their as got to be some sort of creativity inside all of us!

As to political issues: my blog is an insight into who I am, and anyone who knows me well knows any lengthy discussion with me incariably leads to political discourse. There's a difference between blogging for points and blogging and getting points; points come with readership, readership comes from public interest in what you like.

I could point you to a number of threads that have very few points because few people read them and nobody commented on them. That doesn't mean I will stop posting them, as I blog what I like.

I do see your larger point here, though, some issues get beat to death. But if they keep generating readers, they'll keep getting points.

Ultimately it is your blog to do with as you please (within the rules of course). If someone really wants to write about politics, great. If someone (such as myself) likes to customize their OS and wants to write about it, more power to them.

And if someone wants to use their blog to generate points, that is there prerogative, and not our place to tell them they shouldn't
