The probability and possiblity of everything.

"But on a more theoretical level, we decided to post in this manner because we were more concerned with our ideas getting out there than our names. I get the impression that some people who use their real names sometimes have the tendency to treat their blogs as if they were some sort of diary, with personal stories of their kids or vacations or whatever. We didn't want our blog to focus on us as individuals, only on our ideas or opinions. It is also a way to keep us from spouting off about how much we hate people on the Metro or about the parking ticket we recently received. Those things are uninteresting to most readers - or so we thought."

Main article John Moltz: Pseudonames

I found this article very interesting to say the least it refines my ideas of why pseudonames aka nicknames or screen names are quite a killer for the blog world. Do we really want the internet, the world, full of thoughtfull people who are unwilling to talk about their vacations, their kids, their personal triumps, their uplifting stories.

Would we rather dwell on cold hard calculated facts. Such as "This is the way it is", "This is the way it happened", "Here is your mesarable statistic". How about, "This is how it made me feel", "This is how is how it affecting me as a human being".

"Those things are uninteresting to most readers", sure it is great to have our stories read but why always write on what will intrest people? What makes them un-interesting anyway? The people who went on the personal vacation enjoyed spending time with their family, they definity found their lives interesting.

Its like the diffrence between between a doctor and a pediatrition. A doctor maintains his professional distance. He treats the illness and the symptoms not the person. Pedations and family doctors get to know each individual what is going on in their lives, "How they are feeling!", not just how long you have had your nosebleed but rather how is is affecting them as a person.

We as a society are loosing interest in people! We want facts, we want money we want posessions. I am as guilty as the next person. I don't know half the people on my street. That doesn't mean that me and you can't change. We can!

"We didn't want our blog to focus on us as individuals, only on our ideas or opinions." The real question is should we pull ideas and opinions appart from a person? Imagine hearing a great quote from Jhon Kerry what would you think if you latter found out that it was actual a quote from George Bush! Does it make a diffrence? What if the quote was from Running_For_President_4U?.

On my last article. I understand that their definatly are many instances when there is a justifable reason to remain anonomus. However wouldn't it be in the best intrest of society if we shared our lives with the world not just the facts.

We need to bring intrest back into the individual realm. We are too focused on the colective whole. It is truely when we sit down and share our lives with another person telling our personal stories, the daily rutines that we can get what people are really looking for love, acceptance, understanding.

I feel impressed to put in my two cents on my creator my Lord God, and My Savior, Jesus Christ. We also can share our lives with Him, How we are feeling, our personal experiences, a blog to heaven if you will. He will understand, He will care, He will listen. Through Him we will be able to get the love, acceptance, and understanding that we all so desperatly need.
